ALL THAT REMAINS: EDUCATION AND CONSERVATION OF JEWISH FUNERARY CULTURE

The international academic workshop “All That Remains: The Conservation and Education on Jewish Funerary Culture”, will take place Monday and Tuesday, 11–12 June 2018, at the Academiegebouw, Belle van Zuylenzaal. Speakers from six different countries will present papers on a variety of themes, covering digital approaches to cemeteries preservation, concrete conservation aspects of  tombstones, museological methods for displaying death, and attitudes towards burial and commemoration. The workshop is part of the PEACE project, generously sponsored by a Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe grant.
