New developer: Alex Hebing

The DH-lab welcomes yet another new collegue.

Alex Hebing

Some years ago, while studying feminist philosophy, I was a teaching assistant at both Utrecht University and the University of Amsterdam, mostly helping out in their respective Media Studies programs. During that time I also worked with the Digital Humanities Lab as their webmaster. It was (t)here that I found out how cool software development can be, especially together with humanities research, and I quickly knew I wanted to learn it too. And so I did. A traineeship at UWV taught me the basics of programming, and I also spend some time in a commercial environment. But now I am back at the place where it all started, to combine my passions – the humanities and programming – to create beautiful things!
